Experience you can trust
Paul
Background:
I became the Founder and Chief Nerd at SumFactors in 2014 having spent 15 years at Microsoft. I worked on many incredible projects, including travelling out to Sudan whilst the country was in Civil war, and working with the United Nations on an updated refugee registration system.
The digital marketing landscape may have changed in that time, but our ethos of honesty, providing the best tools, and basing our success on your success, has not.
Favourite things:
Lucy, Henry, and Ruby Do (to start the dog theme) Photography, and all things nerd.
What I wanted to be when I was younger:
An Architect – loved the technical drawings.
Mary
Certified by the almighty Google! As a digital advertising guru and business development wizard, I’ve brewed up strategies for Google Ads and Facebook Ads that would make even your grandma click ‘like’!
My specialty? Cooking up campaigns so tasty they’ll make your competitors drool, all while making sure your online presence sparkles like a unicorn in a glitter factory. With my superpowers of audience targeting, campaign optimization, and data analysis, I’m here to help businesses conquer the digital world and turn their ROI dreams into reality! Picture me as the Cupid of the digital world, making sure your brand’s arrow hits the bullseye of your audience’s hearts.
What I wanted to be when I was younger:
When I was younger, I envisioned myself gallivanting across continents, sipping tea with llamas in Peru, doing the tango with penguins in Antarctica, and discussing philosophy with koalas in Australia.
Chris
Background:
My name’s Chris and I’ve been a web tech enthusiast for the majority of my life. My professional journey on the Internet started 2 years ago when I made a U-turn from my career in the Hotel industry to Web Development and Digital Marketing.
I love the flexibility of the Internet, the possibility to exercise my creativity online and constantly tackle new challenges.
Favourite things:
I’m a big fan of the outdoors and a veteran cinephile that has spent a significant amount of time in cinemas.
What I wanted to be when I was younger:
As a kid, I always wanted to be an actor. Rhotacism, a mild lisp and lack of talent, unfortunately stood in the way!
Gina
Background:
I’m a freelance creative. I’ve zigzagged through industries like hospitality, high-end retail and visual merchandising, but these days, you’ll find me sprucing up social media feeds. I’m all about the details and making things look good online. Design for me is about making stuff pop on the screen.
Favourite things:
When I’m not pushing pixels, I’m hanging out with my four rescued dogs and a goat. I’m the “adopt, don’t shop” type of Karen, and I’m not sorry about it. Recently, I’ve been playing around with AI to create dog portraits (Midjourney absolutey slaps).
What I wanted to be when I was younger:
As a kid, I just wanted to press keys (?) IDK, you asked. Looks like I figured out a way to do just that and have some lolz along the way.
Lucy
Background:
Lucy is our trusted HR Director. All holidays, bonuses and morale-related matters must pass through her for approval. As a result, she ensures standards remain high, particularly when it comes to treats and general pampering.
Favourite things:
Anything someone else is holding, strategic nose nudges, and Paul.
What I wanted to be when I was younger:
To remain a puppy forever. Now 14 years young, she’s proud to say she’s succeeding.
