SERP’s – Here today, gone tomorrow?

Ok, the title is a little scarey and SERP’s will never disappear, but it really does seem that Google are trying to push more consumers through the Adwords route rather than clicking on the organic content displayed in search results.

There has been a big concern around the recent changes to Google and how display results are now being impacted by the recent additions to search results which include content relevant to searches performed. There are still lots of search results which are displayed below the fold, but these are clicked much less regularly.

This seems like an obvious push by Google to encourage more internet users to click on the Google adwords adverts rather than the serps content.
